Teacher’s Day Card – free printable

Hey my dear readers, I am back to the desk writing a post after God knows how long and it feels so good.

People who have been following me on Instagram know that I have started with a new hobby of  digital illustration of all things  I love around me. The constant words of appreciation of my friends and family is really boosting my creativity and motivating me all the time. So a big thank you to you all for the encouragement.

With Teacher’s day just a week away, this year I decided to make something special for my sons’ amazing teachers, something which is handmade and with lot of love – a perfect accompaniment to those lovely gifts for them.

Celebrating Teacher’s Day shows the kids that its not just parents who are important in their life, but also the teachers who have an equal hand in grooming and shaping their future and how absolutely important it is to respect their day too, just like Mother’s Day and Father’s Day.

With all the home-based schooling that happened during this Circuit Breaker in Singapore, my appreciation for the efforts that teachers give everyday to make our children’s lives better, increased many folds. It’s definitely not an easy task (trust me there were times when I was about lose my mind just trying to keep my boys sitting at one place, now imagine doing that to 10 kids without raising your voice!!)  I am truly grateful to all those teachers who made the online studies smooth and enriching.

I have made couple of cards for Teacher’s Day which can be easily downloaded and printed on a card-stock to be gifted to them as a simple token of appreciation.

Step 1: Choose the design you like and download onto your computer.

Step 2: Print it out in colour on an A4 cardstock.

For some reason the illustrations were off-centre when I tried printing them on 220gsm A4 cardstock, but it was perfectly fine on a 200gsm or lower gsm paper.

Step 3: Fold it in half from the middle and you have a card already! Ask your kids to pen down their thoughts, “thank you’s” and “love you’s” just the way they like it.

Step 4: Share on your social media so that I can see that you have used it and you know I will be smiling wide 🙂
